MediaTicker is a fun, scrolling ticker that delivers your local digital photos and remote RSS feeds directly onto your desktop. Unlike other newsreaders, MediaTicker gives you a visual perspective on your RSS feeds by displaying content in both text and thumbnail image format.

Now you can add the latest news, sports, headlines, cartoons and photos from almost any site to your MediaTicker. Web sites like Flickr, Yahoo News Photos, and MSNBC provide RSS feeds of images and thumbnail images with links. Add your own photos to flickr.com then tell your family and friends to get MediaTicker to stay up to date with all your latest photos automatically.

Version 2.1 enables users to search for Digital Media on the Web directly from the ticker toolbar and adds compatibility with Windows Vista.
