We have been using this keyboard non-stop for over two weeks now just to see how it would perform under a variety of circumstances. The touch is great with a nice solid feeling click when you press down on a key. This is due to I-rocks X-Structure keys. Basically, these are 2 small arms located under each key in the shape of an X which help return the pressed key to its original position. And with a prediction of an over 10 million keystroke life, the X-Slim should be around for a long time.
Then we decided to try it out while gaming. It performs no different than any other keyboard we have used with the slight exception of key placement. You may have to reconfigure some key binds in games depending on the key's new location on the X-Slim. This happened to me while playing a first person shooter and suddenly my delete key was not as close as it used to be. A simple fix and outside of that this keyboard was able to withstand quite a pounding with no ill effects.
Our overall opinion of this keyboard is favourable. If you're looking for a new keyboard, this might be the one for you if you are in the market for a smaller model with a bit of eye candy tossed in for good measure. Small, clean and generally understated in appearance; this keyboard will look equally at home on a desk in your office or in front of a tricked out gaming system.
Pros:
* Smaller than your average keyboard
* Well designed and clean
* On off button to control the lighting
* Solid feeling keys
* Can take a lot of abuse
* Nice subtle blue glow
Cons:
* Keys might be too close together for those with large fingers
* Key placement has been changed a bit for space.
