We’d like to thank Lionel at CaseBuy tech for this sample.
Everybody likes to be surprised once in a while. So when something comes along that makes us take a second look, we just have to tell the world about it. A case in point is the subject of this review; the USB vacuum from CaseBuy Tech. This small handheld gadget proves that there are still companies out there who can produce something you didn’t even know you needed. Approximately 6 inches long, it comes with 2 interchangeable heads (or tool attachments), a small LED light built into the vacuum itself and 3 different settings.
So, let’s get down to business. Once we took the vacuum out of its package we discovered a number of things. First off, it is extremely light, secondly, it has a High Power button you can push to give it that extra boost of sucking power and last but not least, it just looks cool. Actually, with the stock attachment it looks a bit like a silver elephant. Add to that the brush attachment and you are ready to suck up the dust off of anything within a 2 foot radius of your computer.
O.K. 2 feet doesn’t sound like much and it would be nice to have a longer cord (especially if all your USB ports are in the back of your computer) but it is built like a telephone cord so it does have some stretch to it and in all honesty, this is made to vacuum your computer not clean your house.
Then we decided to test it out. I tend to use compressed air to clean my keyboard and my fans and i was curious to see if this vacuum would be a valid replacement. The answer is....maybe. It doesn’t have the sheer power of a can of compressed air but it is much cheaper in the long run and it does a really good job. This machine is great at cleaning up the dust that accumulates in, on and around your computer. It sucks it right up and it has a small compartment for all the surprises you might vacuum up which makes for easy cleaning.
