Webcams are becoming more and more popular as time goes on. Whether this is due to the fact that the webcams have gotten better or because more programs are incorporating the option of video, webcams are here to stay. Today we are going to take a look at the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000, a webcam that we have been using for the last few months and are quite impressed with.
Right out of the box this webcam comes with a fair amount of stuff. You get the webcam, the shield (which goes over the lens for privacy) a driver disk and a disk with a video and movie creator. The best part about this camera is you don’t even need to have a passing knowledge of computers to install it. The truth is, if you have Windows XP you don’t even need the driver disk (though it is recommended for the other features that are installed). It’s fully plug and play compatible. If you know what a USB port looks like then you can install this camera. Come to think of it, you don’t even really need to know that. Take the plug attached to the end of the long wire coming out of the camera and start trying it in slots till you find one that fits!
We are going to assume that you, the reader are a bit more tech savvy than that. Take a look at the Specs for this camera from the Logitech website and you can see right off what it actually brings to the table.
