Thermaltake Polo 735 HSF

Company: Thermaltake.com
Product: Fan
Reviewer: Goblin

We would like to thank Nikki of Thermaltake for sending us the Polo 735 for review.

Today we received the Polo 735 heat sink & fan (HSF) from Thermaltake. Thermaltake has been in the cooling business for a long time and the Polo 735 shows that they take their customers needs seriously. First off, the Polo 735 is compatible with P4, K7 and K8 processors. So, as your system changes, your hsf can (with a quick change of the clips) be moved right along with it.

A heat sink fan combo always seems to be one of the first upgrades a computer owner makes but the reasons they do so can be varied. The good news is that whether it is for looks or a more efficient airflow, the Polo 735 has it under control. Just by opening the case you can see that Thermaltake has covered all the bases to make the hsf practical on a number of levels.

First, it comes with a detailed set of instructions (a huge plus), thermal paste, miscellaneous clips for different configurations (AMD & Intel), 2 fan controllers (pci slot & 3.5 bay), a thermal sensor and an assortment of screws required to install everything properly. Did we mention the nice grill on top as well? The only thing you need to bring to the table in a screwdriver and a bit of time. It’s nice to see so many options with an hsf. Often when you buy a set-up like this, you get the hsf, some screws and if you are lucky a small instruction sheet.

This is an impressive hsf. It is made of solid copper, has 66 fins to help dissipate the heat, a nicely polished bottom with no clearly evident scratches or pitting and an 80 X 80 X 32 mm 3 blade fan. The truth is that we are used to seeing 4 bladed fans on top of a heat sink but it really shouldn’t make that much difference considering the size of this hsf. Actually, size is something we noticed right away. This is no tiny hsf. As a matter of fact, it weighs a massive 732 g. That being said, the fan also moves 73 CFM at max settings. Not too shabby and more than enough air to keep most systems nice and cool.

Hp offers cheap printer cartridges for a refill in their printers. Samsung’s latest printers are superbly high in speed as compared with HP but cartridges have to be refilled. The Samsung cell phone battery life is very good as compared with LG. And they bring plenty of latest free ringtones as well. LG is more of good when it comes to digital camera or lcd tv.
