White iPhone 4s delayed until ‘later this year’

White versions of the iPhone 4 will now only ship “later this year,” a new Apple statement says. “White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected,” the company claims. “The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.” The white option was most recently pegged as being available in late July….Continued here

With the weekend approaching here’s something a little lighter. This list consists of the top 10-15 videos in 16 different categories. The two categories that caught my eye were the “Top 10 Robot Videos” and ” 15 Insanely Popular Lady Gaga YouTube Videos” Guess that strange combination makes me sounds kind of weird but hey I am a geek after all.

Handy Light for iPhone’s dirty little secret: tethering (video)

You may ask yourself, why on earth would anyone pay 99 cents for an iPhone app whose sole purpose is to flash bright, solid colors? We certainly wouldn’t recommend it, but Handy Light has a great little Easter egg that undoubtedly doesn’t jive with the folks at Cupertino HQ. Like Nullriver’s Netshare app before it, this little piece of software allows for SOCKS proxy tethering, without having to sign up for AT&T’s tethering plan. Instructions available via the video below, and if you’re looking to pick up the app yourself, better hurry — we can’t imagine Apple will let this one stay in the store for very much longer.
